This week, November 13th through 17th, is School Psychology Awareness Week. It is a great opportunity to highlight the important work school psychologists do for the 50+ school sites and programs in Poudre School District. With the supports and services provided by our school psychologists in their buildings, they have become integral members of our school communities. School psychologists create meaningful connections with students, staff and families that foster academic and social–emotional growth, helping students thrive. Our school psychologists not only provide student, staff and family supports through connecting, they are also professional diagnosticians with expertise in designing interventions academically, behaviorally and social-emotionally. Their professional expertise influences many areas of educational practice!
